Matt Jacob is a musician (songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist) residing in New York City.

He has performed at known music venues in NYC (Arlene’s Grocery, Knitting Factory, Bowery Electric, Pianos, Parkside Lounge) alongside other venues on the East Coast and abroad. Well-reviewed as frontman and songwriter for the band Big Mosey (previously one of Deli Magazine’s ‘Top 300 NYC’ Artists,) Matt has also made radio appearances in the Northeast (WCVF, WMWM, WBNY, WMUA, UNregular Radio.)

As a volunteer with Musicians On Call, he believes strongly in the power of music to comfort adults and children. MOC allows his the opportunity to play songs at the bedsides of patients at hospitals throughout the NYC area (Children’s Hospital of NY, Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Pediatrics, NYU Medical Center, etc.)

Currently, Matt is teaming up with Brooklyn’s SubDecibel Sound studio, and producer Chepe Beltranena, on new compositions he’ll be including in his next album.
